The Lady Dragons travelled to Heron Lake to take on the Wildcats on Thursday, September 21st. Heron Lake came away with the win in three sets 17-25, 15-25 and 21-25.
The Dragon’s worked to use their defense to stay close to the Wildcats. Mayssa Tweet had 11 digs followed by Miah Kunkel with 9 digs and Lexi Slater 7 digs. The Dragon serving continued to help their cause with Lexi Slater serving a perfect 11-11 and Paige Bullerman serving 9-9 with 1 ace. Offensively Mayssa Tweet had 17 set assists to aid her hitters. Miah Kunkel had 8 kills Paige Bullerman followed with 7 kills.
Adrian drops to 9-6 (1-3 in conference play).
The Dragons take on Ellsworth for their Homecoming match September 26th then head to Edgerton on October 3rd to take on Southwest Minnesota Christian.
