On Sunday evening, December 31, VanBullys Bar and Grill in Iona, MN will hold a New Year Eve’s bash in honor of Mike Bullerman to raise money for Parkinson’s research.  The Johnny Holms Band will be playing at the St. Columba Hall in Iona, with the pre-party events beginning at 7:00 p.m. and running until 9:00 p.m..  There will be sandwiches, salads and snacks served.

Owners Carrie VanDyke and Ryan Bullerman really wanted to do something to honor Mike, who was a friend of Carrie’s and uncle to Ryan.  Mike was killed earlier this fall in an ATV accident.  They came up with this idea to ring in the New Year and make it special, a time to remember Mike and support a cause near to their hearts, as Mike had suffered from Parkinson’s Disease for many years.  “We have never done anything this big for New Year’s before,” said Carrie, “but Johnny’s been wanting to perform in this area and we wanted to do something fun.”

To attend on New Year’s Eve, you must have a ticket.  The tickets are $50 for two tickets in advance, or $30 each at the door.  Tickets will be limited.  A percentage of the ticket sales will be donated in Mike’s name.  In Adrian, you can purchase your tickets at Big Orv’s Bar.  You can also get tickets at VanBullys Bar and Grill during business hours or by calling 507-264-3303.

Plan your New Year’s Eve now and get your ticket for a great night with friends, music and dancing, and support a great cause while you bring in 2018.
