TRICK OR TREAT AT THE LIBRARY

In one week, there will be little ones (and not-so-little) out and about, looking for treats.  The Adrian Branch Library will extend its hours next week on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in order to celebrate Halloween.

The Library will open at its regular time of 12:00 noon and stay open well after dark, closing by 8:00 p.m.  Children, Teens, and Adults are encouraged to stop in for all kinds of treats.  Just as we did last year, if the weather is cold the Library will also give away free, new gloves for cold hands (for anyone, of any age).

The newly painted castle area is a perfect backdrop for snapping a photo of those wearing costumes.  The Library also has its “mug shot” poster in the entry, for those people who want to have a little extra fun!  $1 you can buy a cup of hot coffee, hot chocolate, or hot tea – to drink at the library or take it to go!

Be sure to stop in during your “trick or treat” rounds and get a treat, warm up, take a break, check out a book, have something warm to drink, see the Dragons in their costumes, or just pop in to say, “hello!”  We are looking forward to seeing everyone – costume or not!
