Six Adrian High School speech students advanced to Section 3A competition at the Sub-section 10A speech meet in Adrian Tuesday, March 28. The top four medalists in the 13 categories qualify for section competition.
Advancing are Zack Loosbrock who was first in Informative Speaking; Sabdi Bravo, second in Informative Speaking; Maritza Beltran, second in Serious Poetry; Sara Knips, third in Serious Prose; Alexia Kemper, third in Extemporaneous Reading and Paige Bullerman, fourth in Original Oratory.
Arianna VanMeveren and Trinity Grimord were section alternates, placing sixth in Duo Interpretation.
The Adrian team placed third behind Windom in first place and Luverne in second.
Section competition is April 8 at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
