Sanford Health Adrian opens new clinic building doors

On December, 1st, Sanford Health Adrian held an open house to allow the people from the community to view the newly finished clinic building. A great number of area residents turned out on a stormy winter day to take a tour and see first hand the new facility.  The new facility includes exam rooms, therapy, radiology and a lab draw location, along with a nice sized reception area.

Benda Bullerman, P.A.C., along with Laurie Jensen, Director of Sanford Health, Adrian;  Tammy Loosbrock, Senior Director of Sanford Health Adrian and Sanford Luverne Medical Center; and Lyndon and Nancy Drenth, building owners, cut the ribbon for the grand opening.  The staff of Brenda, Cindy Wolf, Adrian Site Coordinator; Lana Baerenwald, Ambulatory Nursing Supervisor; Deb Luettel, MA; Darla Timmer, RN; and Sherry Bierman, Physical Therapy Receptionist will be on hand to see to your health care needs.

Ground was broken for the building in May of this year.  The 3300 sq. foot building is owned by Lyndon and Nancy Drenth of Ellsworth and is being leased to Sanford Health. Construction went smoothly and quickly, and the project was completed just a couple of days before the opening.  The staff of the Sanford Clinic began seeing patients in it’s new home on Monday, December 3rd.

The original Arnold Memorial Clinic opened October of 1994 in the Arnold Memorial Hospital building.  Dr. Nathan Rud and Brenda Bullerman, P.A.C. were the providers.  In September of 1997, AMC joined the Sioux Valley Physician’s Alliance which is now Sanford Health.  Brenda continued to work at the clinic until November 2006 at which time she went to Surgical Associates in Sioux Falls, SD.    She came back to Sanford Health, Adrian in July of 2009.  At present, Dr. Diane Kennedy is Brenda’s supervising physician and practices General Medicine at the clinic one day a week.  Hours at the clinic will be the same, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“We are excited to be part of Maine Street in a more accessible building,” stated Tammy Loosbrock,   “Our clinic will continue to offer the same services with our wonderful providers at our new location.  We are thankful for all the community partnerships that helped make it possible.”
