Notice of Candidate Filling Dates
Pursuant under the provisions of Minnesota Statute 205.13 Subdivision 2, notice is hereby given that the City of Ellsworth, Minnesota, General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6Th, 2018, at the Grand Prairie Township Shed, located at 206 East 2nd Avenue, Ellsworth, Minnesota, and that voters are to elect a two (2) Council members for four (4) year terms and Mayor for four (4) year term.. All terms begin on January 1, 2019.
The terms of offices that expire December 31st, 2018 are Councilmember Glenn Meester and Spencer Swanson; Mayor Tasha Domeyer.
Affidavits of Candidacy for the above listed offices may be filed with the Ellsworth City Clerk-Treasurer Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 through Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 between the hours of 9:00am to Noon and 1PM to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday at the City Clerk’s Office in the Ellsworth City Hall at 322 S. Broadway Street, Ellsworth, Minnesota, along with a $2.00 filing fee at the time of filing.
* Please note that the Ellsworth City Clerk’s Office will be closed on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 for the Primary Election at the Grand Prairie Township Hall.
