Filing Dates
Pursuant under the provisions of Minnesota Statute 205.13 Subdivision 2, notice is hereby given that the City of Ellsworth, Minnesota, General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at the Ellsworth City Hall located at 322 S. Broadway Street, Ellsworth, Minnesota, and that voters are to elect a two (2) Council members for four (4) year terms each, and City Council Vacancy: (1) Two year term for council member to fill out the remainder of a four year term.
All terms begin on January 1, 2021.
The terms of offices that expire December 31st, 2020 are Councilmember’s Richard Gaul and Larry DeBeer.
Affidavits of Candidacy for the above listed offices may be filed with the Ellsworth City Clerk-Treasurer Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 through Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 between the hours of 8:00am to Noon and 1PM to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday at the City Clerk’s Office in the Ellsworth City Hall at 322 S. Broadway Street, Ellsworth, Minnesota, along with a $2.00 filing fee at the time of filing.
