Minnesota West Community & Technical College – The Minnesota West Community & Technical College Nursing department has received a generous contribution from, Karen Molitor, an active community member, former RN and frequent guest speaker in the classroom. Karen has donated her collection of 250 nursing dolls to the Minnesota West nursing program for display and donations for nursing scholarships. The collection includes various uniforms of nurses over history from around the world. Karen began collecting the dolls many years ago when she earned her nursing degree. She combed antique stories and has some very old antique dolls in the collection she donated. She collected many as she travelled and has some international dolls included in the collection. The collection will be rotated on display in the Worthington Campus Library for all students, faculty, staff and the public to enjoy.
