Tuesday, June 7, 2016, is “William Kent Krueger Day” in Adrian
On Monday, May 23, at the Adrian City Council meeting, Mayor Bob Wiese, along with the members of the Adrian City Council, approved a request for a Proclamation to honor Minnesota Author, William Kent Krueger, by naming June 7, 2016, “William Kent Krueger Day” in Adrian.
Meredith Vaselaar, Librarian at the Adrian Branch Library, presented a formal request to Mayor Wiese, in which she stated that Krueger is considered to be one of Minnesota’s leading contemporary authors, and it was a great privilege to be able to host him in this city.
Krueger will appear in Adrian at the Elementary School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
