The Adrian Dragon wrestling team traveled to Pipestone on Saturday for a team tournament. The Dragons faced Pipestone in the first round. Logan Taylor started off the action by pinning Luke Ploeger late in the second period. Later on, Mitchell Wagner earned a 7-2 decision in his heavy weight match against Dylan Arndt. The final score was 9-72 in favor of Pipestone.
Adrian then faced the Tracy Panthers. Logan Taylor was able to win a close 4-3 decision against Ayden Horner at the 106 pound weight class. After several tough matches and forfeits, Adrian lost the dual 3-72.
To finish off the day, Adrian wrestled the returning Section 3AA champs. The Wabasso Rabbits defeated the Dragons 75-3. Mitchell Wagner defeated Isaac Schmiesling in a close 4-3 decision.
