Man locked in at Adrian Co-op Oil had active federal warrant

On Sunday evening, July 8, 2018, Police Chief Shawn Langseth received a 911 call made by a concerned passer-by who happened to notice a man inside of the Adrian Co-op Oil building, banging on the window.  Apparently the man could not get out!  Police Chief Langseth contacted Co-op employee, Kevin Lursen to open up the office.  The rescued man, Clint Robieedeaux, from SD, said that he and a friend had stopped at Adrian Co-op to gas up just before closing time, and he went in to use the restroom.  He reported that when he came out of the bathroom, everyone was gone and he was unable to get out of the building.  Checking the security tapes from the office showed that the man did nothing during his time locked in the building.  Finding his story a little strange, Chief Langseth did a person search on the gentleman and found he had an active federal warrant.  He was taken into custody and transferred to the Nobles County Jail to wait for Federal authorities.
