Logan David Nelson ~ Adrian, MN 

 

Funeral Services for Logan David Nelson, age 22, of Adrian, MN will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Adrian
Catholic Church, in Adrian, officiated by Pastor Scott Petersen.  Burial will be in the Adrian Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at St. Adrian Church and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.   Logan died Saturday, June 13, 2020, as a result of a boating accident on Lake Shetek, near Slayton, MN. He was born October 29, 1997, in Luverne, to Gregg and Denise (Marr) Nelson. He graduated from Adrian High School in 2016. Logan enjoyed sports, playing Football and Wrestling.  He qualified for the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament his senior year. He was just finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science at SDSU in Brookings, SD.

Logan enjoyed farm work. He worked at Bullerman Farms during high school, 3B Farms during college and currently Thier Construction in Adrian. He loved to hunt everything. Deer and turkey were his favorite, whether with gun or bow. He also hunted antelope, pheasants, and prairie dogs. He recently developed into quite a shed antler hunter. He also loved his fiancee Krista and their 2 pups Harley and Hazel.

Logan is survived by his parents, Gregg and Denise Nelson, Adrian, MN; sister, McKinley Nelson, Adrian, MN; brother, Preston Nelson, Adrian, MN; fiancée, Krista Motzko, Adrian, MN; paternal grandparents, David and Zetty Claire Nelson, Owatonna, MN; aunts and uncles, Doug (Dawn) Nelson, Faribault, MN; Brian (Barb) Nelson, De Witt, NE; Brad (Sharon) Nelson, Rochester, MN; Teri (fiancé, Rick) Laidig, Swea City, IA; and Kevin (Liza) Flohrs, Sherburn, MN; and cousins, Paul (Tara) Nelson, Julie (Gary) Van Roy, Stephanie More, Justin (Katie) Nelson, Janet (Brad) Slama, Karen Nelson, Lisa Nelson, Carley (fiancé, Tomas) Benzo, Brady Nelson, Brennan Nelson, Travis Laidig, Zach Laidig, Sydney Flohrs and Jacob Flohrs.
