Opening duck hunting, an annual Krogman tradition, was successful again this year. An afternoon dinner was hosted by Bruce and Ruth Lutmer at their acreage near Leota. Those in attendance were: Tim, Megan and Colton Johnson of Ham Lake; Brad and Sharon Krogman of Maple Grove; Courtney, Rob, Jack and Anna Brazier of Otsego; Dean Krogman of Brookings; and Tom and Mary Krogman and Deb Lutmer, all of Lismore. Each year the Krogman Family donates a gun to the Adrian Ducks Unlimited Banquet in honor of their parents, Buck and Rita Krogman. Braxton Vortherms, son of Bruce and Michele of Adrian, is the lucky winner of this year’s gun, a Remington 870 Express 12-gauge. Have a safe hunting season, everyone!
Sandy Spidel welcomes afternoon visitors as she recovers from her recent surgery at the home of her daughter, Gloria Carlberg. She enjoys an occasional ride around town to break the monotony of watching TV! Sandy will return to the Mayo Clinic in early October for a check up.
