“American Pickers” are scheduled to be in Minnesota in October.  They are looking for unique antique collections or interesting stories.  If you know someone who fits this description, you may contact them at 1-800-OLD-RUST.  Mike & Frank only pick private collections—so no stores, malls, businesses, etc. need apply. It will be fun to see where they end up “picking”!

Tori Wieneke, daughter of Troy & Connie Wieneke of Slayton, MN,  was a member of the royal court at Murray County Central’s Homecoming festivities.   Grandma Jackie Wieneke of Lismore, was unable to attend the coronation but was very proud, none the less!!

Congratulations to Jessica (Loosbrock) Fedt of Sioux Falls on winning the “Show Us Your Garth” contest sponsored by Big Country 92.5 KTWB radio station.  Jessica’s winning entry earned her tickets to Friday’s 9/15 concert and the opportunity to meet Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.  Jessica and her dad, Mark, met the duo last Friday and spent at least 15-20 minutes together.  It wasn’t just a handshake and photo op, which impressed the Loosbrocks. It was a dream come true for super fan, Jessica!
