Denise (Kerkvliet) Wasko of Rolfe, IA and a former teacher at St. Anthony/St. Kilian School has written another children’s book titled “Roxy Remembers”.  Denise has retired after spending more than 20 years working with young children.  Her new book is a heartwarming story that deals with the loss of a loved one.  Wasko believes that children relate to animals so they can understand and express feelings through them.  She recognizes the ever changing family unit and the importance of extended family, especially during times of crisis.  For a signed copy, you may contact her at denisewasko@gmail.com.
