Santa will be making an appearance in Lismore on Saturday, December 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at the Lismore Fire Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend, take a picture with Santa, and have a chance at winning Booster Bucks.
Debby and Frank Wieneke were weekend guests in the home of their son, Darin and his wife, Dr. Maria Vu. In addition to spending time with granddaughters Adrian and Kaia, they were on hand to witness the pinning of their oldest granddaughter, Amber Preuss at Minneapolis College. Darin and Maria hosted a reception in their home to honor Amber’s accomplishment. Amber is the daughter of Tom and Christy Preuss of Adrian and will soon take her board exams. Congratulations, Amber, on your RN degree!
The Lismore Christmas Carolers will be getting in the holiday spirit on Saturday, December 22nd. Carolers will meet at the Lismore Bar at 6:30 p.m. and congregate afterwards for munchies and appetizers. Everyone is welcome!
The State Bank of Lismore will host a Christmas Appreciation on Wednesday, December 19th from 10:00-2:00 with refreshments, goodies and door prizes.

Jes Hermeling and Nate Reyne were married on Saturday, December 15th at the First United Methodist Church in Worthington. Jes is the daughter of the Tim and Laurie (Hebig) Hermeling of rural Iona and the granddaughter of the late Milton and Marilyn Hebig of rural Lismore. Nate’s parents are Paul and Tracy of rural Rushmore. The couple will make their home south of Adrian. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Congratulations to Sutton Stoffel on her baptism on Saturday at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Luverne. Sutton is the daughter of Trever and Britton Stoffel and the granddaughter of John and Lori Stoffel all of Luverne. Great-grandparents attending were Veryl and Avis Stoffel of Lismore and Landel (Boysie) and Marlene Bullerman of Adrian. Sutton’s Godparents are Eric and Whitney Harnack.
