The American Legion Auxiliary will be hosting BiNgO at the Adrian Country Cottages Assisted Living on Tuesday, December 3rd at 2:30 p.m. Carpool meets at Legion Hall and leaves at 2 p.m. for Adrian.
Tom and Mary Krogman attended the wedding of their nephew, Austin and Amy (Bruni) Krogman in Kyle, Texas. Austin is the son of Steve Krogman and grandson of the late Amos and Ivy Krogman. Congratulations to the newlyweds.
Ecumenical Thanksgiving services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, November 27th beginning at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join family, friends, and neighbors for an evening of prayer and song. Refreshments will be served following the service. Please plan to attend.
Father David Krogman of Our Risen Savior Parish in Brandon, SD led a pilgrimage to Poland and Eastern Europe earlier this month. It was an amazing experience with stops in Warsaw, Krakow, Budapest, Vienna, and Prague. Travelers with a local connection were John and Chris (Stoffel) Rokeh and their friends, Dave and Jane Mutschelknaus, both of Brandon, SD and Tom and Trudy Fagerness of Sioux Falls, SD.
A large crowd attended the feather party Sunday evening sponsored by the Lismore American Legion. Nichole (Loosbrock) Quebedeux won the door prize. The Auxiliary served barbeques and a beautiful assortment of pies. Lots of fun and laughs at the feather party! See you there next year!
Speedy recovery wishes are being sent to Veryl Stoffel who is a patient in a swing bed at Sanford Hospital-Luverne after suffering a fall last week.
Let the Catholic Daughters help you with your holiday baking. On Saturday, December 7th, they will hold a bake sale before and after the 5:00 p.m. Mass at St. Anthony. The Council of Catholic Women will also be serving a spaghetti supper following Mass that evening. It will be the last Mass at St. Anthony until the restoration project is finished. Masses will be held in St. Kilian until spring 2020.
