A group of cousins attended the Arts/Crafts/Bake Sale sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Mankato. They also visited with Sister Agnes Claire (Krogman) a resident of Good Counsel. Those enjoying the day together were Karla (Krogman) Gedell and Alan Rust of Minneapolis; Paula (Krogman) Tietz and Ann (Krogman) Miller, both of Spirit Lake, IA; Julie (Mrs. Ike) Krogman of Sherburn; and Mary (Klein) Krogman of Lismore.
Ct. St. Bernard #886 will lead the Rosary on Wednesday nights during the month of October. Everyone is invited to come pray with them at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s.
Mari Einck, daughter of Mike & Melissa, celebrated her 3RD birthday at her home in rural St. Kilian with a “TROLL” birthday theme. Guests included her grandparents, Jim & Kris Weidert of Lismore and Ron & Janelle Einck of Iona; Aunts Olivia Weidert-SMSU Marshall; and Nina Weidert of Lismore and her friend, Stuart Rogers.
Bruce & Ruth Lutmer of Brooklyn Park were home for opening weekend of pheasant season. Other hunters for the weekend were Rick & Adam Lutmer of Omaha, NE; Tim & Megan Johnson and baby Colton of Ham Lake; Dylan Johnson of Brandon, SD; and Dave & Cody Lutmer and Tom Krogman, all of Lismore.
Lee Diekmann of Tampa, FL and Dale Diekmann and his son Scott of Ft. Myers, FL spent time in Lismore with their brothers, Tom & Jeff and their families and their mother, Doris Diekmann. Dale & Lee enjoy helping out each year during the fall harvest. Like the saying goes “You can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy!”
Get well wishes to Angeline (Mrs. Jim) Reisdorfer as she is recuperating in her home from a recent heart attack. Godspeed.
The American Legion Auxiliary will hold their monthly meeting on the 3rd Wednesday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. Mary Ann Loosbrock will provide the lunch and Jessica (Loosbrock) Fedt will bring the BINGO prizes.
