Lismore can certainly be proud of the Adrian High School Triple A Award nominees, Dakota John and Sabdi Bravo! These two students have excelled in the classroom as well as in extra curricular activities. Sabdi is the daughter of Alejandro and Mayra and will attend Augustana and major in Biology. Dakota’s parents are Jim and Shelley. He plans to attend USD to major in Medical Biology. Congratulations to these scholars…and best of luck. Your futures look bright!!
Family reunions are fun as well as educational! They help you to get to know your extended family-just in case you happen to run into them in an unexpected place. Michelle Sawyer, (daughter of Merlin and Leeann of Brandon, SD and granddaughter of Bob and Mary Carol Lutmer of Adrian) ran into Gary and Jared Lutmer of Ormsby at the Texas state capitol! They were touring while Gary’s wife, Roxy Scholl, was riding her horse in Fort Worth. What a small world!
The “food fight” competition between the Catholic Daughters and the Knights of Columbus is in full swing. Choose which organization you’d like to support and place your non-perishable food items, personal care items, or household items in the respective box at St. Anthony’s. Remember EVERYONE wins—all items collected will benefit the local food shelves. An evening of fun, food, and fellowship will conclude the competition.
Graham Randall Erdman son of Randy and Marissa Erdman of Lake Wilson and his big brother Roland and sister Roree attended his Baptism Friday afternoon at 4:00 at St. Leo Catholic Church in Pipestone Monsignor Father Gerald Kosse baptized Graham. Godparents were Matt Wolfgram of St. Michael, MN and Candice D’Archangeli Minneapolis, MN. Grandparents are Kathy and Jerry Wolfgram Champlin, MN, Rod and Ruth Erdman Pipestone great grandmother is Yvonne Leonard Robbinsdale and great grandmother Joyce Erdman Lismore and her late husband great grandpa Earl Erdman. Other guests were his aunt Laura Johnson and Mason Dayton, MN and Steve Carley Dayton, MN. Lunch was served in the church hall.
