The city of Lismore and the surrounding communities are excited to see the doors of the Lismore Bar and Grill open for business.  The business is owned by a group of local investors, The Lismore Investment Group.  The bar and grill will be managed by Jonelle Loehlein.

Jonelle comes to the Lismore Bar and Grill with over 20 years experience in the service industry.  She most recently was the manager of the municipal bar in Avoca, MN.  Jonelle lives in Slayton and has one son who is 20 and a daughter who is 16.  She grew up in St. Cloud, but has lived in the area for over 20 years and enjoys working at a small town bar and grill, where the business is an important part of the town and you get to know so many people in your community.

Jonelle and the members of the investment group have been in the building since September 1,  cleaning, re-arranging furniture, making a business plan and working on the menu.  Jonelle has been busy hiring her staff and is excited about her team.  She is still looking for team members who are looking to work a flexible schedule.  She is excited to see the doors are finally open and she is able to get to know the community better and meet the customers.

Lismore Bar and Grill is open Monday through Saturday.  They are offering daily dinner specials from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. serving delicious homestyle specials such as those Minnesota favorites beef commercials and hotdishes.  The kitchen will be open until 9:30 p.m. nightly with the bar remaining open later, closing based on business.  The full menu will include sandwiches, burgers, salads and fryer foods Monday through Saturday and will feature steaks on Thursday through Saturday.  When talking about the menu, Jonelle says it is a work in progress and comments, “the menu will be tweaked based on what’s popular and requests.  I am adding broasted chicken soon because of requests.”  Lismore Bar and Grill also has a back room for small parties.

Lismore Bar and Grill is open for business and ready to serve the community once again.  Jonelle says, “I am excited for this challenge, I know this business is going to go well and be an important part of the Lismore community again.”
