NOTICE OF PLANNED HEARING FOR VARIANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Adrian will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at City Hall; 209 Maine Avenue in Adrian, Minnesota, Nobles County to pass upon the petition for variance as received from Westside Township, 210 West Pearl Street; Lot 2; and adjoining S 30’ of vacated Rice Street, Block 1, Northwest Jones Addition, City of Adrian, Nobles County, Minnesota. Said variance is to construct a dry storage building north of the existing structure. The new building is to be constructed on the above listed property three to four (3 – 4) feet from the East property line and will abut the undeveloped platted street, Kentucky Ave., to the West. This construction does not meet the five (5) foot side yard requirement nor the 30 foot street ROW setback, as per City Code.
