ORDINANCE NO. 85, 2ND SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ADRIAN, MINNESOTA, AMENDING ADRIAN CITY CODE, CHAPTER 2 ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION AND GENERAL GOVERNMENT”, SECTION 2.07 TITLED “SALARIES OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL PERSONS”; BY CHANGING SUBD 1 RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR; AND, BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE, CITY CODE CHAPTER l AND SECTION 2.99 WHICH, AMONG OTHER THINGS, CONTAIN PENALTY PROVISIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ADRIAN, MINNESOTA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. City Code, Chapter 2, is hereby amended by revising Section 2.07, Subd. 1, to read: Subd. 1. Effective 1/1/2017 and each year thereafter, the annual salary of the Mayor shall be $2,000.00
Section 2. City Code Chapter 1 entitled “General Provisions and Definitions Applicable to the Entire City Code Including Penalty for Violation” and Section 2.99 entitled “Violation a Misdemeanor” are hereby adopted in their entirety, by reference, as though repeated verbatim herein.
