Once again, spring weather has been challenging for the spring sport seasons. On Saturday, April 6th the girls golf team from Adrian competed in the Worthington Invitational. Conditions were very wet as a result of the Friday night rains, but the meet went on as scheduled. The Adrian girls placed 8th out of a nine team field with a team score of 443. As this was the first day that the girls had been on a course this spring, the results for the day were encouraging.
Gracia Elias was the low scorer for the Dragons with an 18 hole total 0f 107. Close behind were: Annika Elias (109), Madelyn Odell (112), Madeline Wagner (115). These four scores resulted in the team total of 443. Also playing on Saturday were Josi Altman (121) and Taya Elias (132). Next action for the Dragons golfers will be on Monday and Tuesday, April 8th and 9th. The Dragons will host HLO-F and SWC-E at the Adrian Country Club on Monday and travel to Worthington for a dual on Tuesday.
