On Tuesday, September 27, the Dragons hosted HL-O for their homecoming match. The Dragons were determined to fight for their homecoming game. While they did fight, they were not able to come away with the victory and lost 1-3. The Dragons came out slow to start and were never able to catch up in the first set, losing 20-25. The second set saw the Dragons come with fire and won 25-20. While the Dragons got out to a great start in the third match, HL-O was too much to handle and the Dragons lost the third set 23-25. HL-O quickly took the fourth set from the Dragons 15-25.
Top players for the Dragons were Lexi Slater who served 15 of 15 from the service line with 3 aces. Miah Kunkel had 12 kills, 14 digs, and 4 blocks. Kasie Tweet had 8 kills and 11 digs.
