n Adrian, MN. Ken was the youngest of 8 children.

In 1972 Ken moved to Colorado Springs. There he met the love of his life Connie Meeker, and on November 11, 1972 they were married. Over 30 years ago Ken began working at his father-in-law’s company, Meeker Music, which he & Connie now own. In working there he developed a passion for introducing students to music and music education.

He had many hobbies throughout his life. He was an avid softball player and transitioned to golf. He loved camping and traveling. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Black Forest. Above all his greatest loves were God and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; two daughters, Missy & Kelly; three grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony & Alyson; two brothers, Richard, Huron, SD and Charles, St James, MN; and four sisters, Virginia Harberts, Worthington, Beverly Lindemann, Rushmore, MN, Mary Mulder, Adrian, MN  & Arlene Kellen, Lakefield, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents & sister Joni Thier, Adrian.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a music program of your choice.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date in Adrian.
