A celebration of life for Kelvyn Kriene Leuthold was held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Solid Rock Church in Worthington, MN with Pastor Scott Barber officiating. Kelvyn’s aunts and uncles served as casket bearers. Burial was in the Worthington Cemetery. Kelvyn was born May 16, 2012 in Sioux Falls, SD to Kale and Kourtney (Kramer) Leuthold. In the mere seven years he lived on this earth, Kelvyn touched many lives. On Monday, August 12, Kelvyn was in a farm accident and was called to his heavenly home.
We are thankful for the little man that Kelvyn grew up to be. He was selfless and eager to help others. He was a great host and welcomed people into his home and served them well. He was full of energy and lit up the room with his toothless smile. He lived in the moment, enjoying the present activity to the fullest. He wasn’t afraid to ask questions or share his opinion. Kelvyn was hard working and mature beyond his years. He watched over his little sisters and loved them dearly. He loved having engaging conversations with his mom. He loved life on the farm: riding horses, driving go-cart, and being a farmhand for his dad. He was a competitive little guy who loved playing sports and being great at them. He also loved time at the lake with cousins.
Above all, he loved Jesus and was not shy to talk about his faith. Kelvyn’s four-year-old sister, Kaylee, walked up to their Opi (grandpa) and showed him a picture she colored. She said, “This is Kelvyn and this is Jesus and they’re in Heaven.”
We love you Kelvyn Kriene. You have filled our hearts with joy.
