Jottings by Jerry 4-11-18

Once again spring has been set back on its heels. It is not like last year at all but we can get there, it just will be a little later. This coming weekend may not be pleasant either. Let’s hope we won’t need the shovel much. The robins along with the rest of the birds were a little surprised with the weather and it is taking a toll on them. The fields cleared up by Monday after the storm, but the towns and building sites were clogged, and roads were snow packed. Later in the day most of the plowed areas had melted off.

The positive part is the promise of 50 degree days which will help us all. No doubt we will outside in shorts, grilling our favorites in the next couple of weeks. Drinking something cold with munchies while the meal reaches expectations. Sounds like fun, can’t wait.

Jenny: “That’s a really cool tattoo. dude!”

Jimmy: “Thanks, I got it from my Doctor.”

Jenny: “Your doctor?”

Jimmy: “Yeah… he does this on the side to pay the bills and also holds a Ph.D. in Psychology.”

Jenny: “Great, so not only does he get into your head, but he also gets under your skin!”

Employer: “We need someone responsible for this job.”

Applicant: “Sir your search ends here! In my previous job whenever something went wrong, everybody said I was responsible.”
