The Thanksgiving Holiday is here and may I wish you the best. It’s a time to give thanks and appreciation for those things that have made our lives better. The definition of better, as used here, the great little things like a smile and greeting that brightens the day. This is a great time to express our appreciation to you, our readers and our advertisers, both without which there would be no local paper. The staff works continuously giving you their best and I approved their willingness to put out the best paper in the community.
There is a winter storm that you are well aware of by the time you read this that will hamper the holiday. Use caution when you are on the road planning ample time for any excursions. The turkey may have to wait a day or so. Yes, I know Friday is Black Friday and no one can miss the joy of a bargain. But, there is eight inches of snow predicted with strong winds over several days, a sobering thought. The saving grace is the weather may be much better on Small Business Saturday with local merchants that will appreciate your business.
Again have a Happy Thanksgiving. Let’s all take a moment for reflection.
