James Kuhl – Obituary

james-kuhlJAMES (JIM) F. KUHL, age 60, of Worthington, died, Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home. Jim was born April 22, 1956 to Elmer and Susan Kuhl. Jim grew up in Worthington, MN. He attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR; and graduated from Saint John’s University.

He worked for Saint John’s University and Macalester College. Jim was a devoted son, brother and friend. He returned to his hometown Worthington and became the primary care provider for his parents prior to their passing.

Jim was a bright, articulate and intelligent man that possessed a servant’s heart and generous, gentle and compassionate spirit. His passions were music and reading. He was very spiritual and a man of devout faith. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Worthington.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Judy (Elmer) Wieneke, Dave (Su) Kuhl, Janice (Roy) Redenius, Ken (Cathy) Kuhl, Mark (Kathy) Kuhl, sister-in-law, Judy and many nephews, nieces and great-nephews & nieces.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gerald.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Visitation will continue from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington. Father Jim Callahan and Deacon Vern Behrends will officiate. Burial of cremains will be in the church cemetery.
