GBB advance in Subsection play with upset win

Facing the number four seed team the Flying Dutchmen of Edgerton Public in South Subsection 3A tournament action, the Adrian (the subsection’s number five ranked team) girls fell behind early in the first half, but battled back to even the score at 24 apiece at the break and then went on a 25-2 run midway through the second half to run away with a 58-35 win. It would be the third time this season the Dragons would defeat the Dutchmen. The victory advances the Dragons into the semifinals where they will face the number one seeded Falcons of Red Rock Central.

The win pushes the Dragons overall record to 11-13.
