Four Panther tracksters win All Conference ~ Panthers continue to better their times

The Ellsworth Panther Tracksters took part in the Dick Davidson Invitational in Slayton on May 11th. Five new personal records were set that day.

Ashlyn  Meester set two new personal records.  She took fifteenth in the 800m with a time of 3:08.49 and fourteenth in the 1600m race with a 6:48.00a.  Mady Domeyer earned fifteenth place in the 100m with a new personal best time of 14.93a.  She followed up with a ninth place finish in the 400m.

In the 400m race for the men,  Austen Klein’s new personal best time of 1:05.91a gave him seventeenth place.  He took eighteenth place in the 100m.  Sam Kramer set his new personal record of 5:27.48a in the 1600m for eighth place.  Kade Boltjes earned eighth place in the 200m with a time of 25.41a.  Sean Boltjes ran a season best time of 17.55a for third place in the 110m hurdles, and took fourth in the 300m hAshlyn  Meester set two new personal records.  She took fifteenth in the 800m with a time of 3:08.49 and fourteenth in the 1600m racurdles.

In the field events,  Kade Boltjes took home seventh in the long jump, while Sean Boltjes took eighth.  Carter Boyenga placed seventeenth in the shot put and fifth in the discus throw.  For the women, Hannah Kramer brought home fifteenth in the shot put and tenth in the discus, while Rondae Nave finished twentieth in the shot put and seventeenth in the discus.

The Panthers next head into the MSHSL Section 3 sub-section SW meet in Luverne.  Good luck Panthers!

The Panther’s travelled to Slayton on May 18th to compete in the Red Rock Conference meet.

Earning All Conference honors for the Panthers were Kade Boltjes with a fourth place finish in the 200m race.  Sean Boltjes earned All Conference honors for his second place finish in the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles.  Carter Boyenga earned All Conference with a second place finish in the discus.  The 4 x 100m relay team of Sean Boltjes, Robby Armstrong, Carter Boyenga, and Kade Boltjes earned All Conference with a third place finish.
