Teachers and parents are getting ready for students to head back to school. Ellsworth School is celebrating the beginning of the upcoming year with an open house on August 30th from 4-8 p.m. to welcome students back. Teachers pre-K through 4th grade will be in their rooms and available for students and parents to meet and drop of their students school supplies.
There have been a lot of improvements to the school while the students have been away. Thanks to volunteers from the community and the hardworking custodial staff there have been updates to the Science Room and Consumer Science Room, fresh paint and new flooring in the main hallway and updated lockers for the 5th and 6th graders and new playground equipment for the elementary students are just a few of the projects.
The public is invited to come into the school on August 30th and check out the improvements. There will be a bouncy house for the kids and root beer floats.
