Pat Birkett Richmond, VA and Mimi Drenth Rock Rapids, IA were Saturday afternoon visitors with Ruth Birkett and Skip Birkett.
Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends spent Sunday afternoon with Keith and Marvella Klaahsen, Sibley, IA.
Everybody had a different rain gauge reading. Some had as little as 1 1/4 up to 3 inches. Others in the area had 6 1/2 inches (Luverne) Boyden 6 1/2, and Rock Valley 7 plus. Sibley, George, Little Rock, IA; Adrian, Rushmore, Lismore, MN and others had a good rain fall. If this keeps up, all the ice skating ponds should be in good condition this winter.
