Daryl Boelman, Montana was a recent visitor in the area. He came especially to see his mother, Adeline Boelman, but also visited with other friends and relatives.
Jake Henrichs spent Saturday evening with Jim Mulder and on Sunday Alpharetta Palaschak, Adrian visited him. Pat Birkett returned to Richmond ,VA., on Sunday after spending the summer with her mother Ruth Birkett, brother Skip Birkett, sister Mimi Drenth, Rock Rapids, IA. and son Shane Johanning, Slayton and other relatives and friends. Glen and Barb Arends, Lester, IA; Keith and Marvella Klaahsen, Sibley, IA; Jessie and Heather Post, their children Logan and Kenley, Valley Springs, SD. enjoyed dinner with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends on Sunday.
On Tuesday, September 27th, Lena Wiertzema, Mark and Sharon Janssen, Ellsworth, MN; Dave and Jerre Wiertzema, Adrian, MN; and Brad Janssen, Luverne, MN surprised Jim Mulder with a birthday party. Mimi Drenth, Rock Rapids, IA; Cole Schlesinger, Vermillion, S.D. spent Sunday afternoon with Ruth Burkett and Skip Burkett and enjoyed an early evening supper.
