Hannah Kramer, daughter of Darren and Julie Kramer and granddaughter of Mary Kramer, Rod and Dorothy Kroese, Ellsworth was sworn into the Air Force on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Air Show in Sioux Falls SD.
Wednesday afternoon Paul DeBuhr and Skip Birkett represented the Ellsworth Legion Post and helped out at the Veteran’s Home in Luverne for Bingo.
Come join us at the Pancake feed benefit for Josh Nolte, who was recently diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrolytoma, a rare form of brain cancer. The benefit will be held on Sunday July 31, 2016 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, at the Ellsworth Fire Hall. There will be a bake sale, raffle and other items for sale. At 1:00, there will be a bean bag tournament and more food. Something for everyone!!! Come and support this worthwhile benefit. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN THE RAFFLES…….
Raymond Arends, Little Rock, IA and Daryl Kruger, Ellsworth were Friday afternoon visitors with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends.
Thursday visitors with Jim Mulder were Velma Brommer and Jen Bush, Luverne and Skip Birkett.
On Wednesday afternoon, at Bingo, a birthday celebration for Hank Arends who turned 81 was held. Besides residents, staff and volunteers present. Other family members were Mary Kramer, Sweer Arends,Ellsworth, Herman and Jo Kramer, Adrian and Janice Sneiderman from Little Rock, IA.
