Visitors with Jim Mulder this week were Skip Birkett on Thursday and Jake Hinrichs on Sunday.
Sherri Haken was a Wednesday visitor with her aunt Lavonne Metz at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne. She helped Lavonne celebrate her 90th birthday.
Early Sunday supper guest with George and Marg Shurr were Ruth Birkett, Skip Birkett, Ellsworth; Jay and Mimi Drenth, Rock Rapids IA; John and Dorothy Lepetzky, Eau Claire, WI; Jessica Hamerly and children from Sioux Falls SD.
Tuesday afternoon, Sherrie Haken visited with Jim Mulder and Hank Boltjes at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home and enjoyed listening to the entertainment of Emily Bodine.
There seems to be a large infestation of BATS in the area this year. Be careful, and if one or more get in your house and there would be any possible of it touching you or your family, GO TO THE DOCTOR. Many bats do carry rabies and shots would be needed.
