Representing the Legion at the Nobles County Fair booth on Sunday for Ellsworth were Miles Birkett Ellsworth and Melinda Voy, Shell Rock, Iowa.
Enjoying a family gathering with George and Marg Shurr on Sunday afternoon were Ruth Birkett, Skip Birkett, Ellsworth; John and Dorothy Lipetzky, , EauClair, WI; Jay and Mini Drenth, Rock Rapids IA; Pat Birkett and grandson Derek Braley Richmond VA.
Ellsworth celebrated their Sixth- 5th year reunion on Saturday afternoon and evening at Rock Rapids, IA. A great day weather wise, good friends, good food, good entertainment and great people from good old “little” Ellsworth. May Jean Boomgaarden Oehlerts a past student and teacher represented the oldest (not by age) graduating class of 1945, the youngest graduating class person there was Sara Oehlerts Lease class of 1990, her daughter.
If I would put everyone that was in the Ellsworth area from all over in this column, I would be afraid of missing some names and it would of taken this full page. Lots of great fun by all Saturday visitors with Jim Mulder were Randy and Kathy Ibling , Monticello, MN. They came to especially attend the Ellsworth All School reunion.
