Skip Birkett was a Thursday afternoon visitor with Jim Mulder, and a Saturday afternoon visitor with Fred Huisman, at the Rock Rapids Hospital.

Friday afternoon guest with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends was Raymond Arends, Little Rock IA.

Friday afternoon visitors with Jan Stoll were Devin Moe, Rock Rapids, IA, and Karson Jurrens, Renner, SD.  On Saturday morning Devin Moe and Diane Schweitzer stopped to visit.

Pat Birkett, Richmond, VA, is here visiting her mother, Ruth Birkett, brother, Miles Birkett, and sister, Mimi Drenth along with other relatives and friends.

Sunday afternoon visitors with Jim Mulder were Lawrence and Lorraine Klooster, Luverne, and daughter LeAnn, of Sioux Falls, SD.

This weekend is the annual ELLSWORTH FUN DAYS running  Friday, June 16- Sunday, June 18th.  On Saturday June 17th, ARTS IN THE PARK runs from 9:00AM – 1:00PM.   Homemade pie, desserts and ice cream, sponsored by the Volunteers of Parkview Manor Nursing Home, will be served at “Empty Pockets, Kitch and Kraft’s”, on main street, from 10:30 until gone. The  parade gets underway at 6:30p.m. On Sunday the CHURCH SERVICE will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Ellsworth High School Gym.  The Ellsworth Fire Department will be serving their PANCAKE BREAKFAST at the Fire Hall in the East part of Ellsworth. The Community  BIG TICKET  will be drawn at 12:00 noon at the Fire Hall.Check out the ad in the Nobles County Review.
