Memorial Day Mass on Monday, May 28, 2018 will be at the St. Marys Cemetery at 10:45 a.m, in Ellsworth MN. In case of bad weather it will be held at the church. This is open to the public.
Graduation will be at the Ellsworth High School on Friday May 25, 2018, at 7:00 p.m..
Pat Birkett, of Richmond, VA arrived on Saturday to spend three months with her mother Ruth Birkett and other family and friends.
Our sympathy to the Edye Julius family. Edye died on Wednesday May 16, 2018 in Arizona. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Zion Presbyterian church in Ellsworth.
The Nobles County Historical Society in Worthington held a display on the 162 country schools that once were a part of Nobles County. The program which began at 1:30 was attended by Ruth Birkett, and Marg Shurr, of Ellsworth; Dorothy Lipetzky, Eau Clair WI and Pat Birkett, Richmond VA.
