WOW !!! THE Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers 24-17 on Sunday Night Football. The game was a great one to watch, but so hard to see the injuries.
Wayne and Diane Schweitzer were host and hostess on Thursday evening for a Thanksgiving supper. People attending were Will, Kristin and Liam Heitzel; Karson and Kayne Jurrens from Luverne, MN; Joel, Katie, Devin and Logan Vis, Kenley Korthals, and Jaz Wissink all from Rock Rapids, IA and Jan Stoll from Ellsworth.
Sunday afternoon Thanksgiving dinner guests at Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends were Glen and Barb Arends, Lester, IA; Keith, Marvella and daughter Michelle Klaahsen, Sibley, IA; Erwin and Lori Arends, Little Rock, IA; Doug Arends and Holly Arends, Sioux Falls, SD; Jessie and Heather Postma, Valley Springs, SD; Marlin Arends and friend, Bloomington, MN; and Daryl Kruger, Ellsworth.
Visting with Ruth Birkett and Skip Birkett was Melinda Voy of Shell Rock, IA. Jay and Mimi Drenth joined them for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. The Drenths came back for leftovers on Friday. Sharing is wonderful !!!
Ellsworth avoided the snow forecast for this weekend. We were all grateful that everyone had a safe travel for Thanksgiving.
