On Friday evening family members helped Mimi Drenth celebrate her Birthday at the Grain Exchange in Slayton. At the party were Ruth Birkett and Skip Birkett of Ellsworth; Pat Birkett, of Richmond, VA and Jay and Mimi Drenth of Rock Rapids, IA.
Visiting with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends were Daryl Kruger, of Ellsworth; Gene Kruger, of North Dakota; and Keith and Marvella Klaahsen, of Lester IA.
This week Skip Birkett represented the Ellsworth Legion at the Nobles County Council of the American Legion and Flag disposal in Brewster, MN
