Jeremy & Justice Boltjes of Colorado Springs, Colorado had the opportunity to meet the band KISS during a tribute to Veterans.
Jeremy is the son of Larry and Laura Boltjes of Ellsworth and the grandson of Hank Boltjes, PVM, Ellsworth. Justice is the son of Jeremy and Chani Boltjes of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
KISS is stopping in cities known for having a military presence during their “Freedom to Rock” tour. On Tuesday, July 19 band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley visited the Kansas City VA Medical Center to have lunch with more than 50 veterans. During their tour, KISS paid tribute to a veterans group in Colorado where Jeremy was part of the Color Guard and held the Colorado state flag during the tribute. KISS donated $150,000 to the veterans group during the concert in Colorado Springs. KISS will be making two more stops in the area at Independence, Missouri and Lincoln, Nebraska.
