In a seesaw battle, CC-E defeated the Panthers 59-58. The Panthers fought back in the second half trailing 29-20 to take a 58-57 lead in the final minute of the game. With eight seconds left, CC-E scored to take the lead and a three-point shot by Ellsworth, at the buzzer, failed to go in.
Leaders for Ellsworth were Jared Leuthold, 16 points and nine rebounds, and Brandon Kramer 13 points, six rebounds and three steals; Zach Buntjer and Carter Boyenga had five rebounds each.
The Panthers record stands at 1-12 for the season.

The Panthers boys rallied for their first win at home on January 19th against the HL-O Wildcats. The game was a battle from start to finish. Jared Leuthold put up a three-pointer as the first half ended. The beginning of the second half saw Ellsworth leading by 13, with the Wildcats roaring back within one. With two missed shots at the free throw line by HL-O, and 10 minutes to play in the game, Ellsworth escaped with the win.
Leading the offense for the Panthers was; Grant Jansma, 15 points, Brandon Kramer 14 points and seven rebounds and Carter Boyenga with 11 points and three steals. Jared Leuthold had seven assists and five rebounds and Zach Buntjer blocked three shots.
