Thursday, December 7, was the opening game of the Red Rock Conference. The Adrian Dragons took on the Ellsworth Panthers. The Dragons won by the score of 62 to 38.
The Dragons went 23 of 43 from two point range for 53%. Adrian made 4 of 10 three-point field goal attempts for 40%. The Dragons won the rebounding battle 26 to 22.
Brady Henning led the Dragons with 18 points and three rebounds. Henning was 3 for 3 from shots from behind the arc. Christian Weidert added 14 points while going 6 for 9 from the field and grabbed 5 rebounds. Ryan Wieneke added 13 points. Skylar Polzine added 6 points. Mitchell Veld and Lance Leuttel each chipped in with 4 points. Leuttel had 9 rebounds.
The Dragons are 1-0 in Red Rock Conference play and improved their overall record to 1-1. On Tuesday, December 12th the Dragons will take on the 4-1 Southwest Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. in Adrian!
