The Lady Dragons hosted WWG on Tuesday, September 20. The Dragons came out strong against the Chargers and took the lead 4-1 in the first match. However, the Chargers found their groove and the Dragons couldn’t keep up. The Dragons lost the first set 16-25. Determined to play stronger and better, the Dragons rallied against the Chargers and kept it close, but ultimately the Dragons lost the second set 23-25. Knowing that it was do or die, the Dragons decided to play aggressively the third set and they won 26-24. However, the momentum from that win couldn’t push the Dragons to a fifth set. They lost the fourth set 16-25. The Dragons had a great night on the service line. Kasie Tweet served 14-14 at the service line with 3 aces. Miah Kunkel served 13-14, with 4 aces. Kunkel also had 13 kills; Tweet had 10 kills, Paige Bullerman had 5 kills.
