On Thursday, October 13 the Dragons traveled to Mt. Lake to face off against the Wolverines. The Dragons started off with fire and easily defeated Mt. Lake Area 25-10 in the first set. Not wanting to end their excitement, the Dragons won the second set 25-15 and the third set 25-20.
The Dragons’ serving was excellent as Kasie Tweet led at the service line serving 17-17 with 2 aces. Miah Kunkel served 12-14 with 3 aces, Paige Bullerman served 15-17 with 3 aces, and Lexi Slater served 11-12 with 1 ace. Tweet also led the team with 8 kills while Kunkel and Bullerman each had 7 kills respectively.
Slater led the team defensively with 15 digs while Kunkel provided 14 digs.
