Dragons set new personal and season bests

The Dragons saw personal and season records fall at the Dick Davidson Invitational on May 11th.

The women’s side saw Katia Suarez set a season record time of 14.21a for seventh place in the 100m race.  Moriah Bullerman would shave time off her 100m run for a season record 2:37.74a and fourth place honors.  Moriah also ran a personal best 1:09.93a in the 400m for seventh place.  Cheyenna John followed with her personal best time of 1:15.05a for tenth place.   Karis Barr also set a personal record 3:18.35a in the 800m.  Rebekah Walton ran a personal record 20.78a in the 100m hurdles earning a tenth place finish.

In the women’s field events Rebekah Walton took eighth place in the shot put.  Erika Alvarado set a personal record 12.20.00 in the long jump.

The Dragon men upped their pace with Zach Bierman setting a personal record time of 11.82a in the 100m race earning third place.  Tristan White followed with his own personal record time 12.54a for sixth place.  Zach would also set a personal record in the 200m with 24.24a and fourth place honors.

Scot Edwards threw 39-04.25for eighth place in the shot put and 105-04 for tenth place in the discus.  Zach Bierman would bring home fourth place in the long jump.  Michael Preuss brought home ninth place in the triple jump.

The Dragons competed in Worthington on May 16, and head to the Red Rock Conference Meet on May 18.
