On Tuesday, January 16th the Adrian Boys’ Basketball team hosted the Double A, Luverne Cardinals. The Dragons won 66 to 52. The Dragons shot 53% from behind the three-point line sinking 8 of 15. They were 23 of 51 for 45% from the field overall. The boys won the rebounding battle by a 35 to 20 margin.
Ryan Wieneke led the Dragons with 32 points and 11 rebounds, while making 6 of 8 shots from behind the three-point line. Skylar Polzine had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Christian Weidert added 6 points. Brady Henning chipped in with 5 points. Noah Reyne and Lance Luettel each had 4 points in the Dragons effort. The Dragons improved to 7-8 overall and are 4-3 in Red Rock Conference play.
