In spite of continued shooting woes, the Dragons came away with the win against the Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda Coyotes. Shooting only 28% the Dragons pulled out the win 42-35.
Avery Balster had a hot hand for the Dragons with 16 points followed by Bailey Lonneman, Moriah Bullerman and Marissa Lehnhoff with 5 each, Jennifer Preuss chipped in 4, Christina Cauwels put up 3 and Shawna Rogers and Jayden Zebe eached charted 2 for the Dragons.
The Dragons out-rebounded the Coyotes 42 to 30 with Bailey Lonneman leading in defensive rebounds with 9 (2 offensive), Jayden Zebe pulled in 4 defensive rebounds (1 offensive), Christina Cauwels followed with 3 defensive rebounds (2 offensive), Avery Balster had 3 defensive rebounds (1 offensive), Moriah Bullerman added 3 defensive rebounds, Jennifer Preuss had 2 defensive rebounds (4 offensive), Brisa Xebe had 2 defensive rebounds (1 offensive), Marisa Lehnhoff and Shawna Rogers each had defensive rebound and 1 offensive and Megan Fuerstenberg had one offensive rebound in the game.
