Dragons Go 2-1 in Parkston Quad

The Adrian Dragon wrestling squad traveled to Parkston, SD last Thursday night to take part in a quad.  The Dragons lost their first match to Canton, before defeating Parkston and Tri-Valley.

Canton took it to the Dragons in the first dual, as the Dragons could only muster two wins.  Preston    Nelson won by forfeit at 126 and Scot Edwards won by fall at HWT.

In round two, things went more in favor of the Dragons, as they earned a 28-25 victory over the Parkston Trojans.  Logan Taylor won by major decision in the 106 pound bout, as he earned a late takedown to secure a 13-5 major decision.  The Trojans won the next to matches to take a 7-4 lead.    Preston Nelson received another forfeit at 126 pounds to give the Dragons a 10-7 lead.  The Trojans regained the lead with a victory at 132 pounds.  Chandler Combs, Marshall Taylor, and Beau  Bullerman won by forfeit.  The rest of the matches that were wrestled went in favor of the Trojans as they earned falls in two bouts.
